12-02-2012 Laguna Water District: First in the Philippines to implement the Picca scada system
The Vega and Lopez deep well pump stations are the two (2) first set of stations to be installed with the new system. The scada system will fully operate the pump stations; logging all relevant data; and, handling the system alarms. The very important thing to realize is the energy efficiency implementation. Every second, the system is keeping an eye on the energy consumption and telling the operator if it is higher than it should be.
