SCADA solutions for managing water
Over many years Picca has developed a SCADA standard dedicated for waterworks. This standard part is very functional and can be produced and integrated efficiently. Picca offers SCADA solutions for:
 
- Large utility companies, to unite several water utilities into a single large system
- Municipal water utilities, a new SCADA installation or a renovation of the existing SCADA installation
- Private water utilities, a new SCADA installation

Energy Optimization of pumping systems
Picca is expert in energy optimization of pumping systems usen in waterworks. In particular for the extraction, where we have analyzed more than 150 wells on-site and found a energy saving potential of approx. 30% in average.

At one site we have reduced energy consumption by 50%, equivalent to approximately USD 50,000 per year, as well as a facility with renovated SCADA installation has reduced energy consumption by approx. 30%.
